AMLI Residential was looking for an access control solution for its 630-unit community located at 1400 Lake Hearn Dr NE in Brookhaven, Georgia. The property needed a solution that could support a high-density residential environment while integrating with existing property management and access control platforms, without introducing significant recurring costs.
The project was initially specified with alternative systems however, ongoing annual subscription requirements prompted a reassessment of the solution. A system was selected that could meet performance, scalability, and integration requirements while reducing long-term operational expenses.

Installed by Cornerstone Control Systems Atlanta on March 27, 2025, the Comelit solution was tailored to meet the property’s specific needs. The system included the Ultra series intercoms deployed across the entire community designed to support secure building access and resident communication at scale.
One of the key advantages of the implementation was its ability to integrate with the property’s existing technology stack. AMLI Residential was already using Entrada as its property management system, along with Brivo for access control and Stratis to unify and streamline operations. The Comelit system fits naturally into this ecosystem, allowing all platforms to work together cohesively without disruption.
By moving away from subscription-heavy alternatives, AMLI Residential significantly reduced ongoing costs while still maintaining a high level of security and functionality. The integrated system improved operational efficiency, giving property managers better visibility and control, while also enhancing the overall resident experience through reliable and user-friendly access solutions. In the end, the transition to Comelit provided AMLI Residential with more than just a new system, it delivered a long-term solution that balances cost, performance, and scalability.
